ISIC Australia partners with Maxme to supercharge student confidence, work readiness & career success.
As part of its mission to Make Student Life Better, ISIC is proud to announce a dynamic new partnership with Australian based human skills learning and development specialist, Maxme.
A long time supporter of optimising the career and life outcomes of students by ‘starting with self’, ISIC will be working with Maxme on a suite of human skill offerings for students, teachers and schools alike.
“Supporting our students to develop much-needed soft skills is not only a necessity, but vital to helping them to be as successful as they can be - today, and into the future,” said Jodie Kilian, Managing Director, ISIC Australia & New Zealand.
“Whether it’s crushing goals at work, in a sports team, or with a group of friends, strong social-emotional skills is where it all begins. With our re-launch of ISIC across AU-NZ in Dec 2020 under SAVVY Youth & Student Pty Ltd, our goal has been to do things differently, provide more value, and keep pushing the boundaries on what’s possible. We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Maxme to support students in becoming truly workforce ready through the power of human skills. The brand’s flagship app, Hodie, will be key to this.”
Renata Sguario, Founder of Maxme, is equally delighted with the partnership.
“With two thirds of all jobs forecast to be soft skill intensive by 2030, there has never been a greater need for human skill development. Today, mainstream education does not cater to that need, and at Maxme, we’re committed to ensuring nobody gets left behind. We celebrate ISIC’s commitment to these critical student outcomes, and look forward to the progress ahead.”
As part of the new partnership, all ISIC, IYTC or ITIC member from anywhere in the world will receive VIP access to a Hodie ‘unlimited’ account – over 100hrs of personalised, gamified human skills training, plus unlimited Mini Quests - bite-size ‘career & life hacks’ such as Job Hunting and CV Secrets, How to Ace Job Interviews, Showcase Your Strengths, Salary Negotiation, Get Out of a Rut and more. With Hodie in hand, ISIC, IYTC and ITIC members will get the chance to master six key skills - Self Awareness, Communicating with Impact, Working Together, Mindfulness, Owning It and Creativity ... at any time, place and pace that works for them.
