The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is the only UNESCO endorsed internationally recognised proof of full-time
student status. The card shows to all displayed, that you, the cardholder are a full-time student, as well
as enabling you access to over 150,000 discounts around the world.

The International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) is available to individuals aged 31 years old or younger, who are not fulltime students. The IYTC card carries many of the same benefits and discounts as the ISIC card. The IYTC card is a valuable tool particularly if you are travelling abroad.

The International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC) is available to fulltime teachers or professors. The ITIC card gives you access to many of the same benefits and discounts as the ISIC card.

ISIC
The ISIC is only available to full time students, so you must be able to prove you are currently studying full time at school, college or university.

When applying please provide one of the following documents:

• A copy of your university or student identity card, clearly dated and indicating you are a full time student
• A signed and dated letter on official university or school stationery stating you are studying there full time. We prefer an original copy, although photocopies and faxes may be accepted.

You will also need:

• Proof or your date of birth (for example: passport, birth certificate, Official Identity Card issued in your country of residence)
• A recent digital passport sized photograph of yourself

IYTC
The International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) is for youth and young adults aged up to and including 30 years old who are not fulltime students.

To get an IYTC you must be able to prove your age with one of the following documents:

• Passport
• Birth certificate
• Official Identity Card issued in your country of residence

You will also need a recent digital passport sized photograph of yourself.

ITIC
The International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC) is for full time teachers or professors.

To prove your full time teaching status, you will need a letter on official school or university stationery. This must state that you are employed at a recognised school, college or university for at least 18 hours per week, for a minimum of 1 academic year.

You will also need a recent digital passport sized photo of yourself.

An ISIC, IYTC or ITIC card will set you back $30 AUD – a bargain when compared to the hundreds you
will save!

The ISIC card proves that you are a bona-fide student. Whether it can be used as a proof of identification
depends on the country. It is always best to check the local regulations before you arrive in your
destination.

The ISIC, IYTC and ITIC cards are all valid for one year from the date of application. 

This option is ONLY available at time of application and via our website orders where it offered as an additional add-on to your initial application. 
It can NOT be added on at a later date, nor can it be changed or refunded after it has been purchased.

For only $9.50 per year, you can extend your validity of your ISIC, IYTC or ITIC up to 4 additional years when completing your initial order online.

• it is 100% non-refundable for any reason at any time.
• if you are no longer eligible for an ISIC for a future extention, but are eligible for an IYTC or ITIC, a request to transfer your extension to the alternative product may be made in writing to hello@myisic.com.au and will be at the sole discretion of SAVVY Youth & Student Management.
• Validity is issued for 12 months from date of issue and is displayed as such. Extension validity is automatically updated on your virtual ISIC, IYTC or ITIC every 12 months.
• A request to validate your extended student or teacher status may be requested and will be sent via email to the email address provided in your application. Should this validation be required, your extension will not be activated until this confirmation is received.
• Plastic cards are also issued with 12 months validity. Should you require a plastic card for the extension years, you can simply order and additional plastic with the updated validity for $14.50 each year. 

Customers with correctly ordered virtual ISIC/IYTC/ITIC cards will receive a confirmation email
immediately with the order details. ISIC will process and approve the application within 24hrs (during
business days), or contact the applicant via email if further information is required. Once the virtual card
application has been approved the customer will receive another email providing them with the serial
number. This number can then be used to access the virtual card via the ISIC App. It is the responsibility
of the card applicant to download the app and sign up for an account, through which they can access
their virtual card. Please note timeframes on plastic card delivery: Plastic cards are printed every
Tuesday morning and dispatched as per the order details, via Australia Post. (this includes completed
and approved orders received the prior Tuesday-Monday) If you have any concerns or queries regarding
your plastic card order please email hello@myisic.com.au including your order number, full name and
email address used on your application.

As we work towards worldwide ISIC virtual ID acceptance, please be mindful that some discount providers may have specific policies in place and will accept or deny the ISIC virtual ID at their own discretion. We will do our best to inform you within the benefit description if this is the case, however, please do let us know if you are experiencing problems with virtual ID acceptance at the below contacts depending on where you are having issueso, so we can discuss a solution with the discount provider and update our information if necessary

All Cards issued in Australia and New Zealand are automatically activated as soon as you are issued the card. irtual cards are therefore activvated once you’ve downlaoded and logged into the app with your credentials.

In some countries cards issued require activation, but not for Australia and New Zealand.

The ISIC EXTRA add-on is an addiitonal membership you can add onto any ISIC, IYTC or ITIC membership for only $11.50.

It is valid for 12 months from the date you add it on.

The additional membership (ISIC EXTRA) gives you access to the Frequent Values program which is provided by Entertainment and sold usually for $89.00.

Yes, as of June 2021, ISIC Australia is offering the option to add-on a plastic version to your order or provide the option to buy a plastic version if you have an existing virtual card. See ‘The Cards’

We print all plastic orders on Wednesday and Friday mornings, so if you order on a printing day it is likely to only be printed the next printing day. Please note, that due to COVID restrictions, printing may be delayed, however we will do our best to print and dispatch your plastic card to you as quickly as possible. 

The plastic version will be printed as a replica of your virtual card, incuding the validity, so the validity of your plastic card will be as per the virtual card. 

We only use Express Post with Australia Post. Once printed, it usually takes 3-5 business days, but is subject to Australia Post timelines. If you have waited longer than 5 business days since recieveing the confirmation that your card has been printed and dispatched. Please email us on hello@Myisic.com.au and we can provide you with the tracking details. (Keep in mind printing only takes place on Wednesday and Friday each week)
